About the Program
Representing foreign nationals is becoming more commonplace. This can be intimidating and challenging to practitioners, due to the complexity of immigration law and the fact it can play a part in every field of legal activity including criminal law, family law and employment law. For lawyers to be effective they must know what type of foreign national they are representing, how the immigration system works and the ways other areas of law intersect and impact clients. This CLE will arm practitioners with the necessary tools to better represent foreign national clients and ensure protection of their interests.
