During the past few weeks, I have heard a lot about the 20th Anniversary of the O.J. Simspon trial supposedly the trial of the century.  However as a southerner and a football fan, I would beg to differ.  In fact, I would say the rose almost no taste to the contrary.

The story I am going to tell involves possibly the most legendary coach in college football history, the second coach of all time and arguably the greatest quarterback in college football history. 

When it is over, there would be a saying in the state of Alabama.  "One great American started the Saturday Evening Post (Ben Franklin) and another shut it down (Bear Bryant).  They would not be far wrong.
